{ Patterns that make a statement }

Don´t be afraid of pattern. Sometimes bigger is better, especially in a small space. And even in the most classic room, an oversized  geometric will heighten drama and elevate style. Here are some ideas...

Do you have a wallpaper with pattern in your home?

Do you want some more ideas about wallpaper? See my previous posts about it here.

{ Perfect for decoration! }

You have probably seen ladders in some of my earlier posts, but I have to show you again because it´s such a wonderful way to decorate a room. My suggestion would be to put the ladder in your hallway or bedroom, and decorate it with your favorite clothes, handbags, shoes, accessories or other items that you love.

Do you have a ladder in your home, or would you like to have one?

{ Bright, light and welcoming }

Hi all! I wanted to share this home with you today. It is such a bright and beautiful home with some great details that could spicy up any home. One thing you might take notice of is the use of sheep hide on the coach and the coffee table. A very nice touch!

I love how they designed this kitchen and its functionality. You have the great work space in one corner, and the long bench that is also part of the dining table. And of course the cooking island that creates a nice centre - just perfect.

Lastly, such a welcoming hallway with lots of light. Also notice the bench here as well, which gives you a lot of storage space.

What kind of details do you like about this home?

{ A wonderful kitchen }

Let´s start this week with something adorable. This white kitchen shows that it is all about the details. Imagine this room without the pink textiles, the flowers/herbs and the lovely KitchenAid mixer. They all together give life and charm to this kitchen.

Are you good with details in your home?

{ Savon de Marseille }

What is it with this soap that makes it so popular? I got a feeling that almost everybody has it nowadays. I thought they only sold it in Europe, but gladly I just found out that they have it here in the US as well. There is something about the design that I love - maybe it is the simplicity?

Anyway I´m ordering the liquid soap online today - so in a few days I will be a happy owner of this "famous" Savon de Marseille. If I only could make up my mind on which color...

Do you have this beauty? What kind of color do you have, and is there a fragrance you would recommend?

{ Decorating with pictures }

Have you thought of all the options you have when it comes to decorating with pictures and art? If you are redecorating quite often, a great idea would be to place them on a shelf like they did in some of these photos, and maybe add some other decorating items like letters, flowers, books etc. So when you get tired of it, you can just replace it with something else. Suits ME just perfect :)

Here are some different ideas for you...

{ Colorful bowls }

As I told you earlier, summer is the perfect season to add some extra color to the decoration, and these gorgeous handmade glass bowls are on my wish list right now. Don´t you think these make the dessert look even more yummy? :)

They do look very similar to the "Iittala" ones, don't you think?
