The light in the living room is amazing after we painted the wooden floor, walls and room in crispy white! I love the brightness of the room - it feels very summery and delightful.

Our new sofa is from Home&Cottage and the Moroccan side table is from House Doctor. I bought the table used on Finn.no (Norway´s "Craigslist") and it was originally dark brown, but I painted it white as well as everything else *smile* - I love it!
In a few days I will attend on Norway´s biggest interior blog meet up called "Glansdagen". I´m very excited to meet some of you sweet girls, and I know that we will have a lot of fun - the agenda looks amazing. My only concern is; WHAT TO WEAR?? Oh, my, I wish I though of this sooner...
Will I see you there?? Do you have your outfit(s) ready?
Anyway - I hope you like my new WHITE living room. More pictures to come.

Hei! Så utrolig stilig! Kan jeg spørre hvordan du malte gulvet? Var det parkett fra før? Slipte du den før du malte? Hvor mange strøk har du? Jeg har lyst å male stuegulvet, men er litt usikker på slitasje. Hva hvis folk tråkker inn på høye spisse hæler...? Valgets kvaler, og må overtale mannen... ;)

That's beautiful (and so bright!) I'm curious, how did you paint the floor? From the before picture the floor looks like laminate parquet, and now it looks like a seamless shiny surface. Did you lay a new floor on top of the original? Did you paint it, how?

The lampshade is from TineK Home, and the lamp itself is from "Lama" which is a Norwegian company. I´m not sure if you can buy it anywhere outside of Norway...

I love the color. It only shows that white has its own beauty. This interior design depicts that white is never a plain color.
