Are you ready for a colorful Autumn/Winter?

Yes, because that´s exactly what we can expect in the following seasons, if we shall believe what the said at the Gift & Interior Trade Fair here in Norway.
Lots of delightful and fresh colors will cheer us up in this dark period we are entering - are you ready? Here are some of the trends and colors we will see in A/W 2012/13.

//// IN SLOW MOTION ////

Lets start with the pale colors, so you´ll get a soft start *smile*.
"IN SLOW MOTION" - the theme involves a new, softer side of the classic minimalism.  Here you´ll see stylish and warm materials, and the emphasis is on comfort and tranquillity but with an aesthetic based on minimalism and contemporary styling.

//// IN BALANCE ////

Life in the cold, northern regions far from the city noise has inspired the IN BALANCE theme. The theme is a natural borne trend that is both peaceful and harmonious, yet it can be wild and animalistic. It´s kind of familiar with what we have had for a while, but with a slightly different look.

//// IN MOVEMENT ////

IN MOVEMENT involves a modern access to the active, dynamic life. Clean lines, comfortable and functional materials, and a hint of retro sports items.
In this theme the furniture has multiple functionalities, and they´ll come with a lightness and clean lines. In movement is based more on color expression than on a critical idiom. Futuristic lines and soft materials are characterized by the absence of ornaments and designs.

//// IN FUSION ////

The theme IN FUSION represents the fusion between ethnic and the Scandinavian style in an artistic expression where patterns, ornamentation and colors that are interpreted to the Scandinavian.
The whole thing is a cultural melting pot with a strong Scandinavian touch. An electric mix of colors and patterns form the basis of a style, which is characterized by an individual inspiration from around the world. The design is based on the harmonious, organic, geometric or artistic forms.

So what theme is your favorite, and what do you think about taking more colors into your home?
Believe it or not - I´m ready for some colors this Fall *smile*

  13. I see lots of my favorite colours on the first pic in particular. This autumn will be marked with the following colour palette for me: grey, dusky pink, and small dashes of saturated yellow.

  14. Well, Nina, you know me, I love my colour so I'm loving these flashes of colour! I'm always on a yellow trip (I just made some yellow curtains that I love!) but I'm always loving mint at the moment.

  15. Så gøy å få se de nye trendene, takk for at du deler! In Balance og In Slow Motion tiltalte meg mest. Klemmer
