IKEA launches a whole new kitchen system!

Yesterday I was invited to Stockholm by IKEA to attend to their launch of their whole new kitchen system Metod. If you are thinking about having a new kitchen I would wait until the 15th of April, because that is the date you will be able to get hold of their fabulous new system. This is the release date for Norway and Denmark which are the first countries out to get it in stores. Unfortunately, I don´t know when it will be available in other countries.

The great part of their new kitchen system is that it push the limits of what we actually can do with a kitchen. Thanks to sunken sockets and multiple screw holes inside the cabinets it´s possible to experiment with the placement of the drawers and create solutions in ways that satisfy our own needs and personal style. This is really exciting!

IKEA have always been good when it comes to organizing, but it gets even better with their new system. Now you can have a drawer inside another drawer, and you can even have led-lighting inside of the drawers - very convenient.

The new cabinets will be available in size 20/40/60/80/100 cm. That means it´s possible to have really tall cabinets or you can have them laying like this cool example above.

Whether you want a classical kitchen or a more contemporary one you can play with the look with all the new options.

Their old system will still be available in stock in about two years from now, so don´t worry if you just want to change the look of the one you already have.
After seeing all this I´m thinking; Why did we just renovated our kitchen? I would much rather have this new system with multiple choices!

Are you excited about these news?

Anyway, thank you IKEA for a great day in Stockholm. It was wonderful to hang out with you and the rest of the group that came along. I also appreciate the tour and lunch we had at Taverna Brillo and the delicious dinner at Nosh and Cow. They were both fantastic restaurants.
