{ Redecorating my office }

I have a constant need for change in my home,  and today it's time for my home office to be redecorated. Last night I went to Ikea and bought some new furniture, so I can be more organized as well as having more room to be creative.

 This is how my home office looks like now, but I need a longer desk and some drawers...

Let's hope it turns out well...

Have a wonderful day!

{ My new home office }

It´s time to invite you into my new home office, and since it´s a new office it also has a new look. My last home office had a touch of purple and I loved the way that it looked, but I needed a change so this time I have decorated it in black and white with hints of wood...

I have painted the floor and the walls crispy white, because I wanted a room with lots of light.
The white desk is one of my latest DIY, and I made it using the same method as the dining table I made for our apartment. But this time I painted it in white using a cloth instead of a brush so I can see the wood through the paint. The legs are from Ikea.

For storage I use some of my old wooden crates. They work great as shelves, and I like how the wood softens the black & white room.
Over the shelves I´ve made a little moodboard/inspiration board so I can get inspired when I work. I attached the pictures etc. with pins, a wire and different kinds of tape. This way it is easy to change the look of it.

(The black lamp is from my fiancés grandparents - I love the retro look it has!)

If you like to see some of the other home offices I´ve had, you can see them here (including 10 tips for your home office!), here, here and here.

I have uploaded a lot of pictures of my new home office on Stylizimo.com, if you like to see more and where everything is from.

I wish you an inspiring day!

{ My new feminine home office! }

I've done some changes in my home office again, and this time I wanted it to be more feminine and bright. This is how it turned out...

An easy way to get a feminine look in your home office is to add feminine stationery with girly colors and patterns. Or you can even make a moodboard like I have done here with inspirational photos from magazines and other inspirational objects you love.
Decorative notebooks and boxes will help the surface of your desk get even more romantic and feminine.

An old wooden crate for my favorite magazine is a nice thing to have in reach if I need inspiration.

As I told you in my previous "10 home office tips" post, flowers are a must in your office! They make it extra pleasant and they bring beauty and character to your room.

You can see more pictures of my home office here.
If you wonder how it used to look like, you can view it here.

What do you think?

{ New home office details }

I have done a few changes in my home office because I wanted it to be more cute and girly, and not so rough. I have therefore added some hints of soft purple together with my homemade knitted "pot".
The office has now a more feminine look, which I like a lot. At least for now... *smile*

 You can see how it looked like before the changes here.

Thank you for visiting me!
Enjoy your day.

{ Restoration Hardware }

Restoration Hardware was one of my favorite stores when I lived in the US. Maybe you understand why when you see these pictures from their collection...

I love all the old looking wood furniture that they have. It´s such a great mix with the industrial style that are so popular these days.
You can see more on their homepage if you like.

Have a sweet Saturday, lovely people!

{ My new home office }

Hello everyone, and hello Monday! How was you weekend? Mine has been really lazy, but it was good to relax a bit.
My home office is finally coming together, so I thought I could show you some pictures of how it looks right now. It won´t be totally finished until I get my stuff from Los Angeles (which seems to take a long time! ), but I enjoy sitting here now.
I like to be surrounded by things that inspire me...
 As you can see I´ve made a desk that look similar to the dining table that I´ve made. You can see how I made it here.

 New pillow from Home & Cottage.

You can see the home office that I had in LA here.

Have a lovely day!

{ Christmas office }

Hello everybody and hello December! Finally my favorite month is here.
I can see that many of you have already started with your Christmas decorations, and I love to see all your cosy homes - so inspiring!
 I wanted to have a little Christmas feeling in my office since it's here I spend most of my day.
So now I'm burning candles all day long and I'm listening to Christmas music so loud that my neighbours probably think I'm nuts! *smile*
 Just by adding some artificial pine, a light garland and some candles it was suddenly a lot more cosy in my office. I also hang a plastic snowflake in my empty frame.
 Pinecones are all over the apartment. They give the perfect Christmas look I think.

Do you have any Christmas decorations at your workspace or home office?

If you want to see how my home office was before you can see here, here and here ( Yes, I do redecorate quite often. *smile*)

If you want office inspiration in general, you can look here.

Hello everybody! How are you?
Today I have to share this festive apartment with tons of ideas to steal!

Notice the:
Marimekko towels.
The lovely kitchen.
Cosy fireplace.
The coffee table looks like concrete - very cool!
The Eames DSW dining chairs are of course gorgeous.
Nice, long dining table.
 Great contrasts between the white walls and the dark beams.
Love the beams!
 Imagine sitting in the woods like this when you are working? Great idea!
Cool grass rug.
High ceiling, light and airy - great combination!
Cool kitchen.
A very stylish bathroom with pretty Missoni towels.
Fantastic windows.
Lovely table.
The stair-shaped wall is amazing!
Notice the beautiful decoration over the bed.
White, white, white - always a winner!
♡  This stairs is a "knockout" - so beautiful!

This apartment isn't typically "me", but I see so many things that I like about it anyway!
Do you see anything to like?

It is still possible to vote on my blog in the newspaper Dagbladet.

I will be very happy if you do :)
